Brazilian Arabica Coffee Bean
Brazil is the world's largest coffee producer and produces
around 25% of the world supply of coffee. Eighty percent of
this is Arabica. This Brazilian coffee is produced from plants
that belong to the botanical species Coffea Arabica.
The arabica is an evergreen, typically large bush with dark
green, oval shaped leaves that can grow as tall as 20 feet.
It is usually kept at a height of about 2-3 metres for ease
of harvesting. The arabica trees produce their first crop
approximately 3 years after planting and can continue to grow
fruits for about 40 years......
